privacy policy

General information

Your personal data (e.g. title, name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, bank details, credit card number) will only be processed by us in accordance with the provisions of the basic European data protection regulation. The following regulations inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection, processing and use of personal data. This privacy policy only applies to our websites. If you are redirected to other sites via links on our pages, please inform yourself there about the respective handling of your data.
Legal basis and purpose of processing

We process your personal data for the following purposes:

– Provision of this online offer and fulfilment of contract in accordance with our terms of use / GTC.
– In-house and external advertising as well as market research and range measurement to the legally permissible extent or on the basis of consent
– Sending an e-mail newsletter
– Fulfilment of our contractual obligations, in particular from the sale of

We will only pass on your personal data to third parties if this is necessary to fulfil the contract, if we or the third party have a legitimate interest in the transfer or if you have given your consent. If data is transferred to third parties on the basis of a legitimate interest, this is explained in these data protection regulations. In addition, data may be transferred to third parties if we are required to do so by law or by an enforceable official or court order.

Service provider

We reserve the right to use service providers for the collection and/or processing of data. Service providers receive from us only the personal data they need for their specific activity. For example, your e-mail address can be passed on to a service provider so that they can deliver an ordered newsletter to you. Service providers can also be commissioned to provide server capacities. Service providers are usually integrated as so-called contract processors, who may only process personal data of the users of this online offer according to our instructions.

It may happen that third party content, such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites are integrated within this online offer. This always presupposes that the providers of this content (hereinafter referred to as “third party providers”) are aware of the IP address of the users. Because without the IP address, they could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required for the display of this content. We make every effort to use only those contents whose respective providers use the IP address only for the delivery of the contents. However, we have no influence on this if the third party providers store the IP address, e.g. for statistical purposes. As far as we know, we inform the users about this.

Duration of storage, retention periods

We store your data for as long as this is necessary for the provision of our online offer and the associated services or we have a legitimate interest in further storage. In all other cases, we delete your personal data with the exception of such data that we have to keep for contractual or statutory (e.g. tax or commercial law) retention periods (e.g. invoices). Contractual retention periods may also result from contracts with third parties (e.g. owners of copyrights and ancillary copyrights). Data that are subject to a retention period will be blocked until the expiry of the period.

So-called cookies are used in some areas of our pages.

A “cookie” is a small text that is sent to the computer to identify the visitor’s browser or to store information and settings in the browser. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. If the corresponding server of our website is called up again by the user of the website and/or the customer, the browser of the user of the website and/or the customer sends the previously received cookie back to the server. The server can then evaluate the information obtained by this procedure in various ways. The cookies on our Internet pages do not collect any personal data. We use the information contained in cookies to make it easier for you to use our pages and to tailor them to your needs. Of course, you can also view our website without cookies. If you do not want cookies to be stored on your computer, you can deactivate the corresponding option in the system settings of your browser, i.e. the program for opening and displaying Internet pages. You can delete saved cookies at any time in the system settings of your browser. Using Facebook Social Plugins

Our website uses social plug-ins (“plug-ins”) from the social network, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). The plug-ins are marked with a Facebook logo or the addition “Facebook Social Plug-In”. When you visit a website on our website that contains such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to Facebook’s servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly from Facebook to your browser and integrated into the website. By integrating the plug-ins, Facebook receives the information that you have called up the corresponding page of our website. If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to your Facebook account. If you interact with the plug-ins, for example by clicking the “I like” button or making a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the Facebook data protection information. If you do not want Facebook to collect data about you via our website, you must log out of Facebook before visiting our website.

Use of Google+ Social Plugins

Our website uses the “+1″ button of the social network Google Plus, which is operated by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). The links are marked by the Google+ logo or the addition “+ 1” on our website. When you visit a website on our website that contains such a button, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google’s servers. The content of the “+1″ button is transmitted by Google directly to your browser and integrated into the website. We therefore have no influence on the amount of data Google collects with the button. According to Google, no personal data is collected without a click on the button. Only with logged in members, such data, among other things the IP address, are raised and processed. This information is transmitted to Google and stored there. To prevent this, you must log out of your Google account before clicking on the link. The functions assigned to the links from Google, in particular the transmission of information and user data, are not already activated by visiting our website, but only by clicking on the corresponding links. The purpose and scope of data collection by Google+ and the further processing and use of your data there as well as your rights and setting options for the protection of your privacy can be found in Google+’s privacy policy (

Use of Twitter Social Plugins

This site uses social plugins of the social network Twitter. Twitter is operated by: Twitter, Inc. 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The plugins can be recognized by one of the Twitter logos (bird outline / relief). There are different Twitter logos. These can be viewed under the link on the Twitter website. When the website is accessed, the browser establishes a direct connection to Twitter’s servers (which will probably be located in the USA). The content of the plugin is transmitted directly from Twitter to your browser and integrated into the website. We have no influence on the extent of the data Twitter collects with the help of this plugin and therefore inform you according to the information available from Twitter, which the customer can view under the link on the Twitter website. By integrating the plugins, Twitter receives the information that you have called up the corresponding website. If you are logged in to Twitter at the time when the plugin is used, Twitter can assign the visit to a customer account. If it interacts with plugins, for example by pressing a “Tweet This” button or making a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from the browser to Twitter and stored there. If you are a Twitter member and do not want Twitter to collect data about you via our website and link to the data stored on Twitter, you must log out of Twitter before visiting the website. If you are not a member of Twitter or have logged out of Twitter before visiting the website, Twitter may still obtain and store your IP address. The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Twitter as well as your relevant rights and setting options for the protection of privacy can be found in Twitter’s data protection information under the link

When you access the websites on our website that are provided with such a plugin – for example our media library – a connection to the Vimeo servers is established and the plugin is displayed. This will transmit to the Vimeo server which of our web pages you have visited. If you are logged in as a member of Vimeo, Vimeo will assign this information to your personal user account. When using the plugin, e.g. clicking the start button of a video, this information is also assigned to your user account. You can prevent this assignment by logging out of your Vimeo account and deleting the corresponding Vimeo cookies before using our website.
