By using various alloys, the Spindrift 5 AL is made from at least three different metals. This manufacturing process makes the material highly resistant to fatigue, providing the frame with exceptionally high strength and robustness.
The short frame geometry of the aluminum version makes the bike very playful and maneuverable. Thanks to the poppy handling, spins and flips are the order of the day on the Spindrift 5 AL. Grab it, spin it, flip it.
The 63.9° slack head angle provides optimal handling on steep sections, ensuring maximum control at high speeds, over technical rock gardens, and in challenging terrain.
A quiet bike changes your perception on the trail and provides a tremendous sense of security. The high-quality TPR chainstay protectors, combined with cable integration and optimized cable routing, make the Spindrift 5 AL exceptionally quiet.
Securely screwed and internally clamped cable ports with seals to protect against dust and water ensure optimal cable management and also minimize noise. For the Spindrift 5 AL, we continue to use classic internal routing through the frame.
Every freeride adventure is demanding and unpredictable. To maintain your focus and stay hydrated even on the most remote trails, you'll find a bottle mount on the down tube.
Extremely agile and balanced thanks to PRO10. Whether using a coil or air shock, this technology provides excellent anti-squat characteristics, ensuring optimal traction regardless of the setup. Our specially designed downtube protection shields the frame from external impacts and damage.
All our installed ball bearings are made from high-quality stainless steel and are protected with double seals (PROPAIN Dirt-Shields). This makes the Spindrift 5 AL Park extremely durable and resistant.
The size of the frame plays an important role in the bike’s performance and, above all, in its enjoyment. Select the frame size you need from the table. If you are between two sizes, then you only have to decide whether you like it playful or smooth. For smooth riding, choose the larger frame size, for playful riding, choose the smaller frame size.

The adjustable seatpost is probably one of the most ingenious inventions of recent years. In order to function optimally on the trail, the proper seatpost travel is very important. The following chart shows the recommended Minimum stride length for the corresponding frame size. Please keep in mind that this is only a Recommendation , as the respective sitting position depends very much on personal habits and preferences.
