As 2021 comes to an end, we look back on a very thrilling year and exciting things to come in 2022!
Right at the beginning of the year we have added to our stable with the launch of the new Hugene.The first impression of how our year will run for PROPAIN – It’s going to be crazy and huge!
The Hugene is an all mountain trail bike with 140/150mm of travel that is ready for everything. A quick local trail loop, an all-day grind or even a big mountain adventures. The Hugene is agile and swift on the uphills and a rocket on the downhills. One bike to rule them all.
It climbs, it jibs, it shreds, it’s huge – huge on trails!
In April, we moved into our new German headquarters and were able to welcome even more new colleagues to the PROPAIN family. In the new building we have a large showroom and a café for interested customers, definitely worth a visit if you are in Germany!
Unfortunately, the pandemic has continued to cause us problems this year. Supply chains were interrupted, material procurement became increasingly difficult, suppliers raised their prices and the guys and girls from production had to work under more difficult conditions and constraints. Nevertheless, we didn’t let it get us down and had three new launches in the summer. With our new US production facility we are experiencing the same issues but we are hopeful that supply gets a little better in the new year and we can expand the offering in the US.
In June, we introduced you the new Yuma. A children’s Fully, which is in no way inferior to its big role models! It is a full mountain bike and optimally designed for the needs of young shredders and Senderellas. We are hoping to see the Yuma land in the US sometime in the Spring. Keep an eye out for our newsletter with the US launch.
A month later, we presented our latest downhill weapon the Rage. In the development of this bike flowed 15 years of experience with only one goal: to create the fastest downhill bike. Light and robust and with versatile set-up options ideally designed for the tough conditions of racing. Proven on the World Cup stage with our PROPAIN Factory Racing Team!
In August, we launched our new FRIENDS App. PROPAIN FRIENDS is a network from riders for riders, where you can exchange your opinions honestly and directly. Interested bikers (test riders) can search for FRIENDS (PROPAIN bike owners) in their area and request viewing appointments on an interactive map. It’s up to you whether you want to see the bike live, have a quick test ride or perhaps take it for a spin on your home trail. In the US we are rolling it out as well and as more people here in the US get onto PROPAIN bikes we hope this program grows like it has in Europe, Check it out!
PROPAIN FRIENDS is also a benefits program with which you can earn special offers, deals and experiences.
We are very grateful and proud of the positive feedback that has reached us through all channels.
But that was not all. Not only our team in Vogt, Germany almost doubled in size. We have opened new locations in the USA and the UK.
In the USA, we now have our own showroom, Demo center and office with a production facility building pre-configured models – the full configurator that is available in Europe is gradually being built up here and we are looking forward to offering everyone here in America a chance to ride PROPAIN bikes.
Through our new location in the UK, we can provide the service you need in a much faster timeframe. In addition, there will be a showroom and demo center where you will have the opportunity to test and experience all bikes live.
For 2022 we can promise you one thing – we will continue to go full throttle! We have planned some exciting innovations. But above all, we think of you. We invest in local bike projects and want to further strengthen the PROPAIN community throughout the world. The friends-program will be revitalised and our customer service will always be top priority. We build the best bikes for us and our friends. We will always stay true to this credo.
