Light, but without compromising on the drive unit – that was our goal when developing the Sresh CF. With the Shimano EP801 weighing just 2.7 kg, our lightweight e-bike delivers full 85 Nm of torque and 600 watt peak power. With full assistance, no uphill is too steep or technical, but even in ECO mode the Sresh CF pedals efficiently thanks to the low overall weight.
The modern trail geometry of the Sresh CF, combined with the perfectly tuned 150 mm PRO10 rear suspension, delivers a lively and playful ride feel that lets you pop off every root and guarantees maximum fun on every trail. Just like our long-travel e-bikes, the positioning of the shock and integration of the drive unit and sleek battery provide a very natural ride feel. This makes the Sresh CF handle on the trail like our non-motored bikes.
Performance on the trail is our absolute focus. That’s why we spec the Sresh CF with a powerful 626 Wh battery using the new 21700 lithium-ion cell generation. These cells pack more energy into less space and weight. This makes the Sresh CF’s battery noticeably slimmer, more compact, and lighter than other batteries in this class – the perfect energy storage for achieving optimal trail performance. Climbing three times as much elevation as without a motor is no problem on your after-work rides. Still, it remains playful and agile at all times.
With our extensive online configurator, you can significantly influence the character of all our bikes. The Sresh CF’s base offers an especially wide range of possibilities. Build it up light, and even transversing the alps with long days in the saddle is easily achievable while pedalling efficiently with low assistance. Build it up robustly with heavier components and it becomes a firm trail ripper that’ll let you chase KOMs without backing down from parks laps, jumps and drops.
The Sresh CF is available in both a mixed wheel setup and a pure 29″ configuration. Through the flip chip on the upper link of the PRO10 frame, both wheel sizes can be run on the same frame.
The smaller 27.5″ rear wheel makes the mixed setup more agile and nimble, giving you more freedom of movement. The big 29″ front wheel still provides confidence in rough and steep terrain.
Pure 29″ wheels are optimal for high speed and a smooth ride and offer best roll-over behavior specially in technical sections.
We will help you on your way to your personal dream bike. The four build kits are our recommendations from us to you, as this is exactly how we would build our own bikes. We prepared a well-thought-out predefined spec for all purposes and every budget, with which you instantly are “ready to shred”. However, we at PROPAIN always remain “custom” so you can still choose individual components to customize your dream bike in our configurator.
The EP801 is the new top model of the Japanese manufacturer. This intelligent drive unit delivers superbly controllable high power with a maximum torque of 85 Nm and 600 watt peak over a wider cadence range than before. The harmonious power delivery and optimized control result in a very natural feel on the trail. These feastures, combined with the mere 2.7 kg weight, made choosing the EP801 for our new short travel e-bike an easy decision. To enable a more affordable entry into our e-bike world, we also offer the 300g heavier EP600 alloy version. Aside from the added weight of the aluminum housing, it puts out the same torque and just 100 Watts less peak power than its bigger brother made of magnesium.
The Sresh CF uses a powerful 626 Wh battery. The new 21700 lithium-ion cell generation achieves a remarkably high energy density, packing more power into less space and weight. This makes the Sresh CF’s battery significantly slimmer, more compact and lighter than other batteries in this class – the perfect energy storage for optimal trail performance.
Our Integrated Cable Routing “ICR” system co-developed with Sixpack is used on the Sresh CF as well. The CNC-machined stem from Germany forms a precise fit with the top composite spacer. The cables don’t run through the stem, but instead through a pinch-through seal below the stem into the top spacer, through the headset and into the frame. This allows the stem to be easily swapped if needed and the stack height adjusted via clip-in spacers without having to removing the stem.
To maximize longevity, an additional IPS seal is mounted on the top headset bearing alongside the cable entry seal. Our ICR system is made bulletproof by using exclusively high-quality Acros stainless steel bearings in all frames, recognizable by their red seals. Headset wear is a non-issue with our ICR system.
In the configurator, you can choose between our full Sixpack stem integration or the Acros solution routing the cables through the headset cover.
Our Sresh CF impresses with smart detail solutions. With a sophisticated frame concept, our proven and award-winning PRO10 system, cable integration, clever cable routing and maximally efficient chainstay protector, you don’t need to worry about a thing when riding your bike.
The cut-out down tube allows for the battery to be removed in seconds with just a 4 mm Allen key. The painted carbon battery cover makes the Sresh CF look like one seamless piece while also protecting from dirt and water. The side motor cover, also carbon and painted to match the frame, rounds out the sleek, beautiful design.
Many small details make our Sresh CF a real head-turner. The tidy and completely silent cockpit with the sophisticated integrated cable routing through the headset keeps the Sresh CF looking super clean and uncluttered. Routing cables through the headset is the most modern, secure, and simply the best-looking way to run cables.
The optimized cable routing directly across the main pivot points of the rear suspension is the cleanest solution for us. No more rattling, rubbing or chafing. Even at full shock compression, the cables stay right where they belong. The charge port is conveniently positioned and protected by a rubber seal.
Once you go silent, you never go back. A quiet bike totally changes trail perception and delivers an immense sense of confidence. Ever since the Tyee 6, we’ve made acoustics a major consideration in developing all our bikes and e-bikes. Thanks to the integrated cables, optimized cable routing, and TPR chainstay protectors, the Sresh CF is also extremely quiet on the trail. The new improved EP801 plays its part in the near-silent ride too.
The 200 mm post mount brake mount on the Sresh CF is cleanly integrated into the rear triangle. In addition to aesthetic benefits, this design better transfers braking forces into the frame.
A good e-bike of course needs a way to carry enough hydration and the most necessary tools for longer rides or big days out. The less weight carried in a pack or hip bag, the better. The bottle mount on the down tube and recessed tool mount on the underside of the top tube provide the perfect base for this.
The PRO10 system is known for its drive neutrality. For an e-bike designed to pedal as efficiently as possible, we wanted to further refine this trait. With 123% anti-squat at SAG, the Sresh CF climbs technical uphills with the suspension active and no bobbing. Descending, the system retains its known sensitive initial stroke while providing supportive progression and plenty of pop that accentuates the lively trail bike character. The shocks tuned to the Sresh CF, both air and coil, release the full travel perfectly controllable when needed.
We’re confident that our PRO10 system is the best frame concept. As proven on our EKANO models, positioning the shock vertically between the counter-rotating linkage provides absolutely the best performance, especially for e-bikes.
The Sresh CF’s 150 mm PRO10 rear end combined with shock tunes tailored specifically to it delivers sensitive initial travel and high progression. On the trail, this translates to lots of traction coupled with a playful poppy feel. The anti-squat characteristic harmonies perfectly with the powerful EP801 motor. Technical climbs and shifting under full load happens without bobbing, yet the suspension remains active for maximum traction.
For a modern carbon frame that can withstand ambitious riding for years, using one good quality carbon material alone isn’t enough. Instead, it takes a blend of various carbon fibers and fabrics exploiting their unique properties to meet the demands. PROPAIN carbon frames are made from pre-impregnated (prepreg) carbon fiber layers. These ensure an optimal resin content and far higher strength values. Each individual layer has special properties and corresponding duties in certain areas of the frame. Based on the requirements for stiffness, flexibility, impact resistance, weight, strength and stress direction, different fibers and fabrics are used.
The size of the frame plays an important role in the bike’s performance and, above all, in its enjoyment. Select the frame size you need from the table. If you are between two sizes, then you only have to decide whether you like it playful or smooth. For smooth riding, choose the larger frame size, for playful riding, choose the smaller frame size.
