The rugged desert landscape of Virgin, Utah once again set the stage for the Red Bull Rampage 2024 – freeride MTB athletes from all over the world came together, proving why they are the best of the best. With three riders representing PROPAIN and the first-ever women’s Rampage, this year’s edition had a lot to offer.

This year, the desert of Utah once again transforms into the stage for the world’s toughest freeride event – the Red Bull Rampage. We can hardly wait to cheer on the best riders in this sport live on-site and on screens from October 10th to 12th – with a very special premiere this year: For the first time in the history of the Red Bull Rampage, women will be competing, including our athlete Cami Nogueira. Additionally, we are excited to see the runs of Carson Storch and Clemens Kaudela in the men’s category. 

Loose, familiar, crazy, fast and feral – our PROPAIN Positive Team 2024! With the addition of the new French rider, Gaetan Vige, they’ve expanded their crew and they all share one common goal: to make the 2024 World Cup season the best one yet.

We are closing a significant gap in our growing e-bike lineup: With the Sresh CF, we are launching a lightweight short*er travel e-bike with a lively and playful ride feel all while delivering full e-power.

The PROPAIN Friends Event took place again this year. From October 12th to October 15th, over 60 PROPAIN Friends gathered in the beautiful Val Venosta in southern Tirol and enjoyed an unforgettable end to the season together with the PROPAIN crew.

Red Bull Rampage 2023 was an event in a class of its own. This year two of our athletes took part and both proved in different ways why they belong to the best freeriders in the world. But let’s start from the beginning.

We present: Our first carbon E-Bike, developed together with the SRAM Eagle Powertrain to achieve the perfect symbiosis.

On October 13, the best freeriders in the world will meet again in Virgin, Utah, and this year two of our athletes, Carson Storch and Clemens Kaudela, will compete in the most extreme event of the year. In this article you will find out with which bikes the two will start and we take a look at the custom painted frames.

Our goal for the new EKANO 2 AL was clear: A performance mountain bike which is THE absolute fun machine on every climb and descent. The handling of the E-Freerider was our first priority in the development. The bike should really feel at home on the “big stuff” without conveying in any way the otherwise accustomed unwieldiness of E-Bikes.

For the launch of our new EKANO 2 AL we asked Phil Atwill between his World Cup Races whether he wants to swing a leg over our new E-MTB and ride a few laps in the bike park Schladming. Phil didn’t hesitate one second and jumped on the bike.

The Tyee is the golden ratio, the perfect balance within our product range, our flagship – the „chief“. The last evolution of the enduro has started a new era. With multiple test wins and numerous races won, the bike caught a lot of attention. With the development of the new Tyee, we were faced with one crucial question:

How do we make this bike even better?

We are very pleased to introduce our new kids bikes. The biggest innovation is the Barney, a new 16″ singlespeed kids mountain bike. The successful 20″ models Dreckspatz and Frechdax were also renewed from scratch.

Steep descents, epic jumps, and huge turns – that’s what the French bike parks are known for and that’s exactly what the LosHackos crew didn’t want to miss last summer. Cameras packed, bikes loaded and off they went on their road trip. Watch the edit now!

Freeride Fiesta, the first big freeride event of the season, took place earlier this month in sunny Guadalajara, Mexico. From Rampage veterans and slopestyle stars to 14-year-old youngsters, over 70 riders from all over the world were represented. With a unique atmosphere, a huge jump line, and of course lots of partying, this event is a great change from the usual contest format.

Hailing from Argentina and currently residing in Aspen Colorado, Cami Nogueira is rapidly becoming a household name. Known for big sends and an aggressive approach to technical, steep descents, it’s no surprise that Cami has found her way to the top of the freeride mountain biking scene.

Red Bull Rampage 2022 is over and it was an honor for us to be part of this extraordinary event for the first time. We want to review the past two weeks and tell you what Carson Storch experienced during his eighth Rampage.

Luke Meier-Smith raced five of the eight stops in the EWS on his Tyee CF and won every single race he entered! He dominated the U21 category like no other and rewarded his successful season with the title.

The 2022 World Cup season is over and after two years of postponed and changed races, a completely normal season was possible again. With eight World Cups and the World Championships, there were many very exciting moments.

The stylish freerider Carson Storch from the USA is a welcome bike colleague in the scene and a big mountain bike idol especially in North America.

With the Bam Bam, we add a 14″ push bike to our Kids Bike Range, offering kids the perfect introduction to the exciting world of cycling.

The Propain Factory Racing Team has an exciting season ahead! This year the team will be at all World Cup stops to support three of the best downhill riders. We are happy to announce the line-up for this year.

Some time ago we already told you that we will also be active in the USA and set up an independent office there in order to be able to serve the US market directly on site. Now we have gained new active support with two well-known athletes in the USA

A long-awaited expansion of the PROPAIN product family is launched. A bike that many of our athletes, employees and last but not least our customers have been waiting for: Our new Jump Bike – The PROPAIN Trickshot.

Some of you may already know the Ruso Brothers from the last video Selfmade 2.0 with our athlete Clemens Kaudela. In this edit you will see immediately what the two brothers are capable of. Daniel and Elias Ruso are a brother duo, which has never been seen before in the freeride mountain bike scene. Big jumps and even bigger tricks are their metier.

Jono Jones has long been known in the downhill scene. He has been at Downhill World Cups since 2012 and competed in almost every race in the following years. On the side, Jono completed an engineering degree…

As 2021 comes to an end, we look back on a very thrilling year and exciting things to come in 2022!
Right at the beginning of the year we have added to our stable with the launch of the new Hugene. The first impression of how our year will run for PROPAIN – It’s going to be crazy and huge!

Last year Clemens Kaudela caused a sensation with the project “Selfmade”. This year, he followed up with Selfmade 2.0. “It’s time to build new crazy stuff”, he said.

In the second round they went to France. In Les Gets, the team was able to forget the tough start from Leogang and George Brannigan achieved a phenomenal eighth place. Luke Meier-Smith rode to a very solid 19th place in his first Elite World Cup. Henry Kerr and Remy Meier-Smith unfortunately crashed in their qualifying run and were therefore even more hungry for a good result in the next World Cup.

After the 2020 season was more or less a “no season” with only one official race for the kids, everyone was more than ready and super motivated to finally start the 2021 season.

The wait was worth it…

It is no longer a secret that our Rage is getting an update – it has already been widely reported and hotly debated. We are now pleased to officially introduce the 6th generation of the Rage CF…

As one of the first mountain bike manufacturers who has dedicated so extensively to the kids segment, we are very proud to present the third generation of the Yuma. Our goal was and still is to build a kids mountain bike that is in no way inferior to the big ones.

From May 19 – May 28, Darkfest 2021 took place in Stellenbosch, South Africa. The event, organised by Sam Reynolds, is the perfect platform for the best freeriders from all over the world to push their limits. We are very proud that C-Dog aka Clemens Kaudela was part of it.

The dudes from Los Hackos crew actually wanted to make a big road trip through Southern Europe last summer. But then, something called “corona” crossed the plans. Due to traveling regulations, they ended up in Freiburg, one of the mountain bike hot spots in Southwest Germany. The whole crew has never been there, so they enjoyed exploring the awesome trails of Freiburg. The result is a nice little “autumn edit”.

An exciting season lies ahead of us here at Propain Factory Racing. We have young Luke Meier-Smith moving up into elite to join his team mates George Brannigan and Henry Kerr. Alongside this we have a new junior male!

Tour, Trail, Allmountain? What now? The new Hugene is the answer. A bike with 140-150 mm of travel that always fits. Whether it is a quick trail loop, an all-day tour or even an alpine cross. The Hugene is a summiteer on the uphills and a rocket on the downhills. One bike to rule them all!

If you have not heard of Rémy Métailler already, you have probably missed something in your life or must be living on the moon. No, even if you live on the moon, you would have seen his massive jumps in the Whistler Bikepark from up there. With his insane skills on the bike, he is just a pleasure to watch and the perfect match for PROPAIN.

After two years away from us, the manual and style master himself will return to PROPAIN as a free athlete running his own program. His main focus will be UCI World Cups, video projects and other events along the way.

We would have loved to see these bikes on the World Cup Circuit – unfortunately, this only happened to a limited extent. In collaboration with our partner RS Farbroller these beauties were created: Three custom painted Rage CF for our World Cup rider George Brannigan.
