As PROPAIN grows in North America, I’ll be posting regular updates on what the PROPAIN North America Crew is doing to increase transparency and improve the experience for you all.
PROPAIN North America is still a dedicated crew, obsessed with building (and riding) the best bikes – that’s not something we’re looking to change. That said, this year we are working hard to improve our processes so we can keep up with demand and improve the experience for all our customers. Our amazing team has made significant progress in bringing lead times down for custom bikes, and in the coming weeks we’ll be rolling out some purchasing options that will ensure 1-2 week lead time on most built-to-order bikes, across the model range.
While we are refining our processes, we wanted to give you some pre-specced bikes to choose from. Right now, this inventory is mostly made up of Tyee (160mm Enduro) and Sresh (150mm Trail E-Bike), but they ship in one business day and can hopefully bridge the gap for our customers that would prefer not to wait. One of our biggest constraints has been space. With limited room for storage, it’s been difficult to hold the necessary amount of inventory. In October of last year, we moved into a new building which give us way more space for warehousing, production, and accommodating you in our showroom. We’re just about to announce our Grand Opening dates for this spring. Stay tuned!
It’s not just warehousing that we need space for; building custom bikes requires space for people, their tools, and all the other bits that go into getting your new ride just right. One of our awesome mechanics, Ash, is seen here building up a custom Terrel CF gravel bike.
