Description
Developed for the toughest downhill tracks in the world and manufactured just 10 km from the SIXPACK headquarters near Ravensburg.
The pedal body is CNC-machined from 6082 T6 aluminum. To reduce the pedal's carbon footprint, the body is made from 70% recycled aluminum. The pedal weighs 380 g per pair and measures L 110 mm x W 105 mm x H 13 mm (leading edge) with an extra-wide base of L 101.6 mm x W 105 mm. The 16 steel pins screwed on the back, which are recessed further in the axle area than in the area of the outer bars, make the profile of the base concave. This allows the foot to sink in slightly - for optimal grip in all conditions.
The body rotates smoothly on the thermochemically hardened CrMo axle, which is of course also made in Germany. Each pedal is equipped with three sealed deep groove ball bearings, an igus® plain bearing and a custom radial seal. Sixpack's own failsafe system guarantees that the pedal body and axle do not separate from each other, even under maximum impact on hard trails. The pedals are assembled in our headquarters in southern Germany and carefully checked for quality. They are then sent to you in packaging made of recycled cardboard, also made in Germany.
The Millenium 3.0 Your Part is designed for extreme downhill descents and easily passes the tests of product category 5. It is available in midnight black and raw anodized look. The trendy CNC look of the product brings with it slight optical deviations, which makes each pedal unique in detail. The pedal is also available in a limited edition as a special edition in copper.
As part of the product development, the pedal's CO2 balance was created along the value chain. By the time the finished Millenium 3.0 Your Part Pedal leaves our warehouse, around 2.9 kg of CO2 are produced. In comparison, around 13.2 kg of CO2 are emitted in the value chain of an average pedal produced in Asia.
