Propain Positive X Blend Carbon: Sprinkle Design Unleashed

Just like with our other carbon models, we use a variety of carbon materials in our World Cup bike. The updated carbon lay-up of the RAGE was personally designed by Phil Atwill in an eye-catching sprinkle design – in the colors of our Positive Team. This unique design combines modern aesthetics with dynamic, reflecting the speed and energy of World Cup racing. A real head-turner that performs on the track just as well as it looks!

The start of the World Cup season – for the first time, the Replica Edition took the big stage at the World Cup opener in Fort William, Scotland. Unfortunately, the Positive Team didn’t make it past the qualifiers, but the season is still long!

A look behind the scenes – in constant collaboration with PROPAIN’s engineers and the team mechanics, we’re refining the perfect setup. Close collaboration with our athletes is the highest priority in the development of our bikes!

The Replica Edition is also a must for the toughest downhill race in the world. We proudly look at our riders Cami Nogueira, Gaetan Vige, and Jono Jones, all represented in the starting lineup of this incredible event with their RAGE.

In Bielsko-Biala, Poland, junior riders Marco Lamaris and Oliver Vogl impressed with outstanding performances. After strong runs in the qualifying rounds, Lamaris secured an impressive 20th place. Austrian Oliver Vogl went even further, finishing an incredible 15th place on his RAGE in his World Cup debut.

Already the third stop of the UCI Downhill World Cup, but even in Leogang, the first final in the Men’s Elite category was still awaited.

Next stop: the fifth event in the French Alps. In the pouring rain of Les Gets, Phil Atwill battled through extremely challenging conditions to secure a solid 17th place in the fiercely competitive field. This would remain the best result for the Propain Positive Team this season. Unfortunately, our riders were unable to move further up in the rankings at the remaining stops and the World Championships.

The season highlight in Andorra – the World Championships were intense. Youngster Marco Lamaris, who had already proven his skills earlier this season, once again showed his potential. Racing for Germany in the U19 Junior category, Lamaris sped to 9th place, securing his first international Top 10 finish – simply incredible!

After numerous intense stops in the Downhill World Cup, we reflect on a season full of effort and passion. Even though our team didn’t go beyond a 17th place, the performances of our riders in one of the toughest and most competitive fields in the world are remarkable. They gave their all on every course with full commitment. We are especially proud of the exclusive Replica Bike that our athletes rode during the season – a symbol of the performance and racing spirit they demonstrated on the most challenging trails.

Whether you want to ride the same trails as the pros or simply seek the thrill of speed on steep descents, the Rage is ready for any challenge.
