We have taken the requirements of children’s bikes and added our gravity experience in just the right amount.
The contact points with the bike – pedals and cranks, handlebars and grips, and the saddle – were developed in collaboration with Sixpack specifically for the ergonomics of little shredders. The sophisticated geometry and Sixpack 1st Ride components ensure optimal control and therefore safety on every ride. The compact frame, combined with the relatively large 16-inch wheels, ensures the necessary smoothness, making it feel like a familiar environment for the kids. The first turns of the crank are effortless, and the hydraulic disc brakes enable safe braking with minimal effort – adapted to small hands. The Barney is ideal for children between 95 cm and 115 cm. With the Barney, nothing stands in the way of the first real bike ride.

The Barney is designed as a single-speed bike. The gear ratio allows kids to get going easily, but without much effort, they can also reach a speed suitable for their first real bike rides. And if things get too fast, the hydraulic disc brakes provide reliable braking power and controllable control – with minimal effort for the little ones.
The Barney’s tires are wider than usual in relation to the wheel size. For a bike this size, they provide far more efficient damping than a suspension fork or shock. The large-volume tires compensate for bumps at low pressure and offer enormous grip through their profile. And that, with low rolling resistance at the same time. Wide grin guaranteed!
