Rémy Métailler on PROPAIN Bikes

Welcome to the Crew!

We are very proud and beyond stoked to announce that Rémy Métailler will ride on PROPAIN Bicycles from now on.

If you have not heard of Rémy Métailler already, you have probably missed something in your life or must be living on the moon. No, even if you live on the moon, you would have seen his massive jumps in the Whistler Bikepark from up there. With his insane skills on the bike, he is just a pleasure to watch and the perfect match for PROPAIN. We are very much looking forward working with our new partner, crew member, style god, ambassador and friend in the future and say:

Welcome on Board, Rémy!

Rémy originally started mountain biking at the age of 16 in Nice, France. With his big talent and the love for mountain bikes he moved in 2013 to one of the best spots for mountain biking in the world, British Columbia. This decision paid off, because two years later he got invited to the biggest MTB-event on earth, the RedBull Rampage. In the following years he got invited three more times. Besides Rampage he also loves Urban Downhill Races. Often held in South America, those races demand extreme bike control and the ability to send it on stairs – a lot of stairs. Rémy masters this discipline with ease and won in Puerto Vallarta 2018 and in Taxco 2017.

With the global pandemic going on in 2020, unfortunately no such events took place. But Rémy has some incredible trails in his hometown Squamish. On YouTube he blew our minds with his crazy lines. Besides various GoPro Awards, in 2020 he also got second in “GoPro’s best line of the year” contest. His videos are regularly nominated for “video of the year” on Pinkbike and his social media content is simply inspiring and motivating for us all.

But let Remdog speak for himself:

Damn it feels good to announce that I am riding for PROPAIN Bicycles from now on! The brand has kept on impressing me more and more over the last few years. The geometries and suspension design are super dialed, and it just makes me want to ride the bikes. When the brand released the Spindrift in mullet set up, I just knew it, PROPAIN was what I wanted to ride for 2021 and beyond. We share the same vision of Mountain Biking and I can’t wait to shred on PROPAIN.

We are looking forward to the upcoming projects with Rémy!
